Stephanie Olson told the Lammersville Joint Unified School District board she has lived in Mountain House since 2007 and has five children who have attended or currently attend district schools. "I'm Stephanie Olson, and I have lived in Mountain House since 2007," she said, describing longstanding volunteer leadership on PTO, booster clubs and community service projects including the Sailfish Swim Club.
Olson said she values "servant leadership" and wants the board to continue pursuing the district's Local Control and Accountability Plan goals — particularly closing opportunity and achievement gaps — while managing school construction for a growing district. She identified funding challenges, teacher shortages and post-COVID student needs as the district's major problems and said she can commit the required time for board duties.
