Cullen Stewart, director of sales for Conterra Networks, told the committee that Conterra has deep roots in Northwest Louisiana and operates with local construction leadership and customer-service teams. He said Conterra previously operated in the region under other names and that local employees are familiar with hospitals, government offices and permitting processes.
Stewart said “two of the top three cell phone providers in this area use Conterra fiber to support their cell phone towers” and that Conterra is shifting its focus from residential customers to government, business and education entities. He described an organizational move toward a 'Trusted Technology Solution' model and said Conterra partners with other ISPs to deliver services; he invited committee questions and thanked members for the opportunity to present.
