Bossier Parish board ratifies completion of repairs to CSR and headworks at sewer plant

The Board of Supervisors for Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 of the Parish of Bossier on May 20, 2026 ratified acceptance of the Certificate of Substantial Completion for Project No. 2024-121, described in the minutes as “Repairs to CSR and Headworks Structures at Sewer Treatment Plant.” Mr. John Ed Jorden moved to ratify acceptance and Mr. Jimmy Cochran seconded; the motion carried with all 11 members present voting yes and one member absent.
The minutes note the action had been previously approved by the Bossier Parish Police Jury on May 6, 2026 by resolution authorizing the Parish Administrator and/or Parish President to execute documents in connection with acceptance of the certificate. There was no public comment on the item during the board meeting, which concluded at 3:12 p.m.
