On Feb. 25 the St. Helena Parish Police Jury unanimously authorized President Ryan Byrd to renew the contract with First Guaranty Bank as the Police Jury's financial institution for the period Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2026. The motion was made by Jule C. Wascom and seconded by Warren McCray Jr.
