Family thanks Troup County first responders after atopic‑pregnancy emergency; woman credited timely dispatch and teamwork for saving daughter

An E911 representative described a 911 call from a distressed pair about a 36‑year‑old female who had gone unconscious; multiple dispatchers, firefighters and AMR crews coordinated at the scene and the hospital was prepared for the patient's arrival. A family member who was introduced to the board as Miss Conklin gave a prayer and recounted the event, saying that coordinated dispatch and prompt arrival made the difference in her daughter's survival. "We heard numerous times that 10 minutes of any delay ... would have resulted in a much worse, very different outcome," she said.
The family member said the patient, Hillary, recovered fully and the family wanted to publicly thank the emergency personnel and call takers. Commissioners invited the family and the responding team forward for a photograph and publicly thanked staff for their training and equipment. The recognition was presented as a community gratitude moment rather than an item requiring action.
