Troup County adopts 2045 comprehensive plan for transmittal to DCA

Staff reported that the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) reviewed the county's comprehensive plan and recommended final adoption. A staff member said, "We got back from DCA, and they said we're good to go ahead and do a final adoption and send it back to them before October 31." The board voted by voice to adopt the 2045 comprehensive plan.
Staff said the adoption included minor corrections, typo updates and clarifications to districts and the work program; the chair called for a motion and the board adopted the plan by voice vote. Staff will transmit the adopted plan to DCA as required.
