Lakeside Union board finds students had sufficient textbooks for 2023-24, adopts resolution

The resolution affirms that pupils have sufficient materials in Mathematics; Science; History-Social Science; and Reading/Language Arts.
Vice President Lara Hoefer Moir moved to adopt the resolution and Clerk Jim Bennett seconded the motion. President Andrew Hayes closed the hearing after there were no public speakers. The board record shows the motion carried 5:0 (Ayes: Bennett, Ellenson, Hayes, Hoefer Moir, Kasper). The hearing record notes there were no public comments submitted during the hearing period.
The action completes the districts annual certification of instructional-material sufficiency for the covered subjects for the 2023-24 fiscal year and will be filed consistent with state requirements.
