The Cortland County Community Services Board on April 27 unanimously approved three nominations to the board and moved to allow email voting for appointments when timing requires it. Jackie Cooper moved to approve the March 23 minutes and led the nominations; motions to appoint Matthew Cranson, Jessica McGuire and Loriann Spatola-Davis carried without opposition.
Board members also discussed gaps in representation and recruitment priorities, identifying school districts, law enforcement and the courts as areas to target. The board voted to "authorize membership voting by email when necessary to avoid delays in the appointment process," a procedural change intended to speed confirmations between meetings.
