State awards Cayuga County $1 million to extend water and sewer for Bluefield Pointe housing

The county will regrant the award to the City of Auburn, which will be responsible for administering the grant and providing the required matching funds; Terwilliger said the county will have no ongoing funding or staff commitments for the project. Planning staff also announced a second round of county‑level "call for projects" to identify additional infrastructure needs tied to housing development and to recommend applications for legislative approval.
