Parks & Recreation’s Martin Jones said the department had been renting a splitter at $276 per two-day rental and recommended purchasing a Cal Ranch unit for ongoing use. Commissioner Clark moved to purchase the log splitter for $1,399; Hancock seconded and the motion passed. No amendments to funding sources were made during the meeting.
