Police report: rifle requalification, provisional certification and National Night Out announced

Police Chief Jeff Wise delivered the department's report at the July 14 council meeting, distributing the June statistical report and reporting that officers have requalified on patrol rifles. He told council the department received provisional certification with the Ohio Law Enforcement Collaborative and said he will present proposed changes to the Village noise ordinances at a future meeting.
Chief Wise also noted that the 'No Parking' signs used during the Fourth of July fireworks had a positive effect on congestion and announced that National Night Out will be held Aug. 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Enon Park.
