Highway Engineer Dana Larsen told the commission the temporary dog shelter agreement with the City of Minot was revised to locate the shelter in Building B of county facilities instead of Building E because Building B is more suitable for housing animals.
City of Minot Police Chief Michael Frye was present to answer commissioners' questions. The commission voted to approve the Ward County/City of Minot Temporary Dog Shelter Agreement by roll call vote.
The agreement and the site change were forwarded as a formal intergovernmental arrangement approved by the board; the motion was moved, seconded and passed by all commissioners present.
