Township advisory board brings multiple road concerns to Road and Bridge

Township advisory representatives met with county commissioners and Road and Bridge staff on the evening of April 6 to raise numerous local road concerns. Representatives from Adrian, Banner, Cedar, Douglas, Franklin, Liberty, Grant, Jefferson, Soldier, Washington, Netawaka, Whiting and other townships described site‑specific problems and maintenance needs. County staff said they will review the reported locations and determine what repairs are feasible.
The minutes list each township representative who spoke (for example, Tom Hoffman for Adrian Township; Luke Kennedy for Banner and Grant; Rodger Phillips for Cedar). Public Works Director Scott Kieffaber and Road and Bridge Superintendent Joe Gardner were present and committed to inspecting the issues raised. The meeting adjourned at 8:18 p.m.; the minutes record that Road and Bridge will 'look at the concerns and see what they can repair.'
