Kingsburg Joint Union High trustees approve January bills, safety plan and routine items

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees voted on routine consent items during its Feb. 11, 2025, meeting, including approval of bills paid in January and adoption of the district’s 2024–25 Comprehensive School Safety Plan.
Board members approved the bills paid for January 2025 (M165-2425). The board also approved the Comprehensive School Safety Plan for 2024–2025 (M166-2425). In addition, the board reviewed and noted the 2024–2025 First Interim Report; the report carries a positive certification from the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools indicating, based on current projections, the district is expected to meet its financial obligations for the current fiscal year and the subsequent two fiscal years (11.2).
President Steve Nagle led the roll call for the votes recorded during the meeting. The board moved interdistrict transfers to closed session for action and later reported those transfers as approved as designated by the superintendent (M174-2425). The meeting record shows Mr. Mike Serpa was absent for these votes.
