The Elk County Board of Commissioners directed staff to publish a notice and hold a hearing on proposed 2024 budget amendments on Dec. 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Room. Commissioner Perry Russell moved and Commissioner Doug Hendricks seconded the motion to publish the notice in the Prairie Star; the motion carried 3-0.
County Clerk Kerry Harrod told the board that the County General, Ambulance and Employee Benefits funds require amendment for 2024. The hearing will provide a formal opportunity for public comment and any final board action on the amendments; the minutes do not record the proposed amendment amounts.
