The Elk County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Dec. 9, 2024 to give county employees a 2.5% cost-of-living increase effective with the January 2025 payroll. Commissioner Doug Hendricks moved the increase and Commissioner Perry Russell seconded; the motion passed 3-0.
County officials recorded the effective date as the January 2025 payroll and did not attach additional eligibility criteria in the minutes. The board also discussed related 2024 budget amendments later in the meeting that will be addressed through a published notice and a scheduled hearing.
