The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners voted March 9 to approve a payroll change reallocating County Attorney Doug McNett’s salary so that 65% is charged to his County Attorney position and 35% to his County Counselor duties.
Commissioner Burdett moved to approve the payroll change notice and Commissioner Miller seconded; the motion passed 3-0. County Attorney Doug McNett was present for the item. The change was presented during routine business and recorded as an approved payroll modification.
Clerk Rein handled presentation of payroll paperwork to the board during the session. The action is a formal payroll amendment and does not itself change the board’s budget authority; any budget-level changes would be addressed separately as required by county procedure.
