Board confirms site-visit planning and temporary meeting location for February

Board members discussed conducting site visits to substance-use and mental-health provider sites; Chair Patricia Sullivan said people usually sign up and recommended pairing an experienced lead with first-time visitors. Deputy Director Cassandra Eslami said HHSA would provide an updated list of previously visited sites and that the list should be ready by Jan. 15 for the Executive Committee to review.
The board also circulated a proposed speaker schedule for 2025–2026 and noted that the Feb. 11 meeting will include an HHSA Be Well Van/Mobile Clinic presentation with a van tour at 4 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot off Imperial, after which the board will reconvene at the Silver Lupine conference room at 650 Imperial Way. Meetings will continue at the temporary location until the original conference room construction is complete, expected by the end of February.
