CALBH/BC gives Brown Act and board training resources to Napa County Behavioral Health Board

Theresa Comstock, Executive Director of CALBH/BC, presented “How to be an Effective Behavioral Health Board” and directed members to training materials and Brown Act resources available on the CALBH/BC website. She also distributed a PowerPoint to members for further review.
Comstock told the board there is quarterly training and that Brown Act training is scheduled for the coming week, and that the courses are available online for those who cannot attend in person. "Starting with another Brown Act Training session a week from Saturday," she said, and urged members to register or use the online materials.
