Commissioners move multiple land‑use and capital items to consent agenda

Commissioners voted at the work session to place multiple items on the consent agenda for formal action at a later meeting. Motions placed on the consent agenda included a proposed text amendment and conditional use for a childcare learning center (1091 Confederate Road), a conditional‑use approval for a produce stand at 3930 Eatonton Highway, and a conditional‑use application for a 195‑foot telecommunications tower at 102 Ridgeview Road. The Board also voted to add a Quit Claim Deed for the Buckhead Fire Department to the consent agenda after amending the meeting agenda.

Planning staff reported the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the childcare text amendment and the other land‑use items, and recommended conditional approval of the produce stand subject to parking outside required setbacks and anchoring of the movable stand.
