Supervisors authorized the Chairman to sign a grant application and acceptance award with the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation on behalf of the Wyoming County Ag and Business Center, for a grant of at least $100,603 to fund building, furniture, fixture and technology upgrades (Res. 26-089).
The board also approved multiple lease agreements for space in the Ag and Business Center to local organizations: Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism (1,189 sq. ft.; $15.75/sq. ft.; $18,726.75/year), Cornell Cooperative Extension (3,321 sq. ft.; $52,305.75/year), the Wyoming County Industrial Development Agency (1,778 sq. ft.; $28,003.50/year) and others, with CPI-based annual increases and terms through Dec. 31, 2030 (Res. 26-132 to Res. 26-136).
The grant and leases were approved unanimously; the Ag and Business Center director and Chamber representatives spoke briefly on the Shop Wyoming & Win contest results earlier in the meeting.
