Bob Wietharn presented a packet of emails and documents to the Clay County Board on March 30 alleging that information in a state grant application was incorrect and that the application was submitted without the promised review by listed reviewers.
Wietharn told commissioners he contacted Seth Allen of Schwab Eaton, who informed him the application had been submitted before Wietharn and others had received copies for proofing. Wietharn said he will have his attorney draft a contract between Riverscreen and Clay County to set out mutual expectations after project completion. Commissioner Thurlow responded that he expected the grant process to succeed but acknowledged Wietharn's desire to verify items involving him.
