At a special meeting on Nov. 10, the Roosevelt County Board of Commissioners convened to canvass the City of Froid election results and certified returns for four candidates. Commissioner Gordon Oelkers called the meeting to order at 2:00 P.M., and the board reviewed the tallies for accuracy.
"The commissioners confirmed the tallies were accurate," the board recorded, and Commissioner Robert Toavs moved to adjourn. Commissioner Oelkers seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned at 2:01 P.M. The canvas was limited to certification of results; no further action or challenges were recorded.
