Jay County orders Bridge #110 contract; highway crews report chip‑and‑seal progress

Patterson and Assistant Superintendent Stephanie Klarer reported that Bridge #110 went to letting on July 8 with four bids; INDOT recommended the lowest bidder and county paperwork is being finalized with Duncan Robertson, Inc. for $1,043,446.43. Commissioners noted the county’s 20% share of the contract will be $208,289.36. They also said Bridge #93 will be let in November because of a parcel‑related delay.
