At its Feb. 23 meeting, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners approved a package of procurement and payment actions including vendor contracts, subscription renewals and routine claims.
Key approvals included: parking-lot seal coating and striping awarded to Snake River Striping & Asphalt Maintenance for $21,930; subscription agreements with TitleOne, Flying S, Alliance Title and AmeriTitle; and a Cityworks software contract renewal for Planning & Zoning priced at $39,375 (a 5% increase of $4,000 that the department had budgeted). The board also approved a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Rigby that authorizes Jefferson County to perform HVAC, electrical and plumbing inspections for the city.
The board approved claims for Feb. 7–20, 2026 totaling $764,214.42. Commissioner Clark moved to approve the claims and Commissioner Young seconded; roll call was unanimous. The board also approved Certificates of Residency for spring 2026 for Kaden Hagerott, Aiden Deinhard and Judy Taylor for both the College of Southern Idaho and the College of Western. Commissioner Clark read and the board approved a request to designate Drinc Inc. as a wholesale location; the record notes Drinc will not sell to the public.
The approvals are routine county business; county staff will update procurement files and record subscription agreements and certificates as required.
