Developers tell council they face inconsistent requirements; request staff follow-up

Developer Chris Christofferson said his AFEW1 project was required to install a retaining wall at an estimated cost of about $1 million to prevent slumping onto adjacent property and questioned why a nearby development called "The Yard AF" received different allowances. He also raised bond-assignment concerns and incomplete infrastructure items such as sidewalks and three-phase power.
"My project was required to construct a retaining wall at a cost of approximately $1 million...I feel my concerns have not been adequately addressed," Christofferson said. Jared Wolfgramm, speaking on Christofferson’s behalf, described turnover in the Public Works Department during the project and requested a meeting to resolve outstanding issues. Mayor Frost and staff indicated they would follow up directly to review the project history and outstanding obligations; no formal remedy or council action was taken at the meeting.
