KDOT approves Morton County bridge project at 100%, county public works reports
Summary
Morton County Public Works reported that KDOT has sent a letter approving a bridge project at 100% funding; the department also reported ongoing road work including a state-line east road project, compactor operation and grading activities.
At the June 8 Morton County Commission meeting, Sheldon from Public Works presented a letter from KDOT indicating approval of a bridge project at 100% funding. The staff update noted the compactor ran last week, three graders are currently operating and the state-line east road project began that day.
Sheldon also reported that Pete is performing spraying operations this week. Commissioners did not record any formal vote on the bridge in the portion of the minutes provided; the KDOT approval as presented to the commission was described in the staff update and included as a supporting document.
