County signs multiple long-term leases for Ag Center office tenants

The Wyoming County Finance Committee approved a slate of office leases for the Ag Center (36 Center Street, Warsaw) on Feb. 3, 2026, assigning annual rents and terms for multiple tenant organizations.
Approved leases recorded in the minutes include the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce for 1,189 sq. ft. at $15.75 per sq. ft. (annual $18,726.75), Cornell Cooperative Extension for 3,050 sq. ft. (annual $48,132.00), Wyoming County Industrial Development Agency for 1,770 sq. ft. (annual $27,877.50), Wyoming County Soil & Water for 1,059 sq. ft. (annual $16,679.25), and a 105.75 sq. ft. space for the Wyoming County Tobacco Asset Securitization Corporation (annual $1,665.68). The USDA Wyoming County lease for 4,500 sq. ft. was included in the agenda but the per-square-foot rate and total amount were left blank in the minutes. Motions to approve each lease were carried (Ayes:7).
Supervisor Roche moved the motions recorded in the minutes. The leases are listed as professional service contracts and include term dates effective Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2030 (except the USDA lease, effective Feb. 23, 2026 through Feb. 23, 2031, where dollar fields were not specified). County staff will finalize contract (MUNIS) numbers and rent schedules as follow-up.
