Commissioner Wilson reported that he and Carol Waggoner, Extension/4H Director, will meet with a realtor to pursue acquiring permanent district offices. The building was appraised in October at $495,000, listed at that amount and later reduced in July to $399,500. Realtor Jerry Franklin provided information about the property during the meeting.
The minutes state the DMV-occupied side of the building is a lessee that intends to renew a five-year lease at $1,350 per month beginning in September. Judge Hamsher moved to proceed with acquisition plans; Commissioner Wilson seconded and the Court approved the motion unanimously.
