Superintendent says Cumberland students earned ‘superior’ ratings; state education leaders to visit March 12

Shores said a group of high school students visited Richmond to meet Delegate Luther Cifers and tour the Virginia General Assembly. She also announced that the Virginia State Superintendent of Schools and the Secretary of Education will tour the county school complex on March 12 and host a Region 8 listening session from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The superintendent encouraged support for the Cumberland Education Foundation’s High Bridge 5K on March 14 and noted ongoing recruitment efforts for school staff.
