The commission reviewed January financial activity and heard staff report on budget planning for FY 2026–27.
Accounting showed Fund 121100’s net fund balance declined after payments for the Runway 17/35 construction, the fuel upgrade, and the land acquisition projects; the reserve increased by $56,788.18 due to paying invoices, and reimbursements from the FAA, ODAV COAR, and Connect Oregon remain pending. Fund 124100 (airport fund) rose by $8,620.01, primarily because of U.S. Forest Service reimbursements for shared utilities and management fees.
Haley Walker said she has begun county budget work and highlighted the importance of receiving pending reimbursements during budget planning. Commissioners discussed how timing of reimbursements affects reserve balances and near‑term cash flow.
Next steps: staff will continue budget preparations and monitor reimbursements from grantors.
