Additional equipment purchases approved included a pickup topper for Bainville Fire from Iconic Elements Inc. for $18,208 and a Bobcat skid‑steer sander for $5,400 for county maintenance. Commissioners noted Bainville Fire is a separate fire district with its own funds; the county’s approval is an administrative step to allow payment upon completion.
All motions for these purchases were made by Commissioner Robert Toavs, seconded by Commissioner Doug Marottek and recorded as passed in the minutes. The commission did not record contested votes or roll calls for these procurement items in the minutes.
