MCCJC Lieutenant Taylor reported a jail population of 146 (56 Cassia; 33 Minidoka; 1 ICE; 45 IDOC; 8 U.S. Marshals; 3 courtesy holds) and 54 rented beds. Misdemeanor Probation Director Prewitt reported 1,083 active probationers — 518 Minidoka, 531 Cassia and 34 out‑of‑county — and 432 on pretrial release (216 Minidoka; 214 Cassia). Financial reports presented by Cassia Deputy Clerk Wallace and Minidoka Clerk Page showed with 36% of the fiscal year elapsed the jail revenue was at 67.08% and expenditures at 30% with a jail trust balance of $2.3 million; misdemeanor probation revenue at 41% and expenditures at 33% with a $317,000 trust balance; and the Juvenile Detention Center having expended 27.95% with a trust balance of $774,306.90.
Undersheriff Horak announced that an ID card machine has been ordered. Commissioner Schaeffer asked about how the "Sheriff App" is being used; the transcript does not record an answer. The meeting concluded with no executive session and adjourned at 8:34 AM.
