Michael Nino, IT, updated the commission on computer and security needs and recommended consolidating several smaller servers into two larger servers for greater effectiveness and moving the security system to digital. He said he has configured a potential time-keeping system for review.
Nino presented a capital outlay request for a Dell laptop priced at $3,619.99. The commission approved the purchase on a motion by JW Finn, seconded by Jim Tucker, recorded as unanimous.
Nino's proposals will be reviewed further as staff considers server and security upgrades.
