Morton County commissioners met May 11 in Elkhart and approved amended minutes from the April 27 meeting and a set of payroll and accounts payable warrants totaling $121,422.67.
Commission chairman Jim Tucker called the vote after Commissioner JW Finn moved to approve the minutes and Tucker seconded; the action carried unanimously. County Clerk Gina Shores presented the warrant registers that showed departmental totals including General $61,370.20, Sales Tax $29,821.70 and 911 $9,508.11, with a combined total of $121,422.67.
The commission also signed payroll withholding forms and scheduled upcoming meetings for May 26, June 8, a special canvass meeting June 15 and June 22. The meeting adjourned at 12:42 p.m. following a motion by Finn, seconded by Ed Anderson.
