Applicant tells Surry planners construction traffic for BESS would be much lower than solar projects

The applicant also told commissioners they can provide flaggers at narrow road segments and that the formal traffic-management plan will be reviewed during site-plan approval. "We can restrict delivery hours to between 9 and 2, for example, for heavy vehicles," the applicant said when asked about minimizing community impact.
