Commissioner Talton presented a slate of vehicle purchases approved at the same meeting: a new ½-ton crew cab and extended cab from Phil Brannen/Ford of Perry (amounts $41,808 and $39,042 respectively) and two in-stock 2025 Ford Interceptors at $46,289 each (funded by 2018 SPLOST). The board also awarded a 2025 fuel contract to Petroleum Traders Corp. (prices listed in the minutes as E10 Unl Plus 89 Octane: -$0.1141; Diesel - Ultra Low Sulfur: -$0.0449; Average: -$0.07950). All motions carried unanimously.
Chairman Perdue noted the rescue trucks purchase was the last item paid from the Standard Allowance portion of the county’s ARPA allocation.
