Commissioners approve nearly $3.04 million in road resurfacing and related change orders

Resolution 26-0329 awards the 2026 Asphalt Concrete Resurfacing Program (Job #2026-06) to Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. at $1,969,644.15 with a contract term through July 17, 2026 and a purchase-order expiration date of July 17, 2027. In a separate action, Resolution 26-0330 awards Barrett Paving the MOT–Diamond Mill Road resurfacing (PID 121671, Job #2024-10) at $1,069,065.40 with term and purchase-order dates through May 31, 2026/2027 respectively.
The board also approved change orders that increase two existing contracts: a $14,226.00 addition (Change Orders 10 and 11) to Barrett Paving for the Social Row Road improvement project (revising that contract to $7,149,181.40) and a $10,533.75 addition to the R. B. Jergens contract for the Shoup Mill Road reconstruction (revising that contract to $6,175,788.67). Commissioners introduced and approved these resolutions during the regular session; procedural notation in the minutes lists the three commissioners in support of each item.
These actions continue capital pavement work across multiple jurisdictions (including the City of Germantown and several townships) and reflect routine contract adjustments for price changes and project scope clarifications.
