Board approves juvenile, shelter and social services contracts including $100,000 for emergency shelter

The Board approved several human services contracts designed to support juveniles, substitute care and emergency sheltering. Resolutions 26-0294 and 26-0295 authorized agreements with K12 Gallery to provide enhanced educational services to juveniles in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court Schools (not to exceed $83,000) and to fund the HAALO arts program (not to exceed $25,000) through Dec. 31, 2026.
Resolution 26-0311 authorized an agreement with Destiny Family Services, LLC for substitute care services through Dec. 31, 2027, and a related resolution authorized a contract with the YWCA Dayton to provide emergency shelter services not to exceed $100,000 through Dec. 31, 2026. The Board also approved staffing- and services-related agreements, including an extension for Alto Healthcare Staffing at the Stillwater Center and small veterinary and animal rescue contracts with SICSA.
