Fayette County releases $3,645.44 in PMVL funds to Bloomingburg

The Fayette County Board of Commissioners authorized release of $3,645.44 from Permissive Motor Vehicle License (PMVL) funds to the Village of Bloomingburg at its Feb. 2 meeting.
The request came via a Jan. 27, 2026 letter from Bloomingburg Mayor Tim Bennett and was supported in a separate transmittal from Fayette County Engineer Jason S. Little, P.E., P.S., who asked the board to authorize the payment. Commissioner Tony Anderson moved the resolution and Commissioner James D. Garland seconded; roll call recorded Garland aye, Anderson aye, Fleak absent. The funds represent PMVL monies held for the village as of December 2025.
