Miss Cruz, finance staff, told the board that Cumberland County received RSAC grant funding from the Virginia Department of Health to purchase a new ambulance.
"The RSAC reported funding to purchase at 70% not to exceed $252,000. The total cost of the ambulance was $362,561. The local match is $110,561," Miss Cruz said. She recommended the board approve a supplemental appropriation of $252,000 and transfer $110,561 from the general fund into the capital improvements fund.
