The Draper Historic Preservation Commission approved a draft 2025 meeting calendar at its Oct. 16 meeting, voting to exclude the July and December meetings.
Chair (speaker S5) moved the draft schedule with July and December excluded; another commissioner seconded the motion and the measure passed by voice vote. The chair framed the change as consistent with recent practice: "The last couple of years, we've just canceled July," the chair said during the discussion.
Commissioners noted that individual meetings can be added later if necessary, but preferred canceling now to set clear expectations for the public and staff. The commission directed staff to prepare an agenda and public notice if a meeting is added during the year.
