The chair framed the change as consistent with recent practice: "The last couple of years, we've just canceled July," the chair said during the discussion.
Commissioners noted that individual meetings can be added later if necessary, but preferred canceling now to set clear expectations for the public and staff. The commission directed staff to prepare an agenda and public notice if a meeting is added during the year.
