Library reports more than 115,000 minutes read in summer program so far

Library Board Member Ellen Creager presented the library report and summer-reading metrics to the board. As of the report, library staff had logged 115,777 minutes read toward a 300,000-minute summer goal, with 382 people registered and 79 adults registered; average in-person Wednesday attendance was about 150. Creager said 20 teens attend a weekly group and that the library had issued 2,526 program badges so far.
Creager outlined recent and upcoming programs: Wyoming Landmarks with Fort Laramie, a U.S. Flag program with the National Guard, a presidents program for children, and a new Thursday Splish Splash Storytime at the Torrington baby pool. The Board accepted the library report.
