Goshen County adopts two grant acceptance resolutions, applies for cybersecurity funding

County Grant Writer Hannah Fullmer told the Goshen County Board of County Commissioners on July 7 that the county has applied for a State and Local Cybersecurity Grant and presented two resolutions accepting outside funding for local programs. "The County has applied for a Cyber Security Grant," Fullmer reported as she introduced Resolution 2026-13 (American Library Association funding) and Resolution 2026-14 (Office of State Lands & Investments funding). Commissioner Justin Burkart moved to adopt both resolutions; the motions were seconded and passed.
The ALA award and the state lands acceptance formalize previously negotiated grant support for local services. The board recorded the motions to adopt both resolutions and approved the Grant Writer's report. Fullmer's monthly grant materials (distributed with the meeting packet) list other grant activity in progress, including Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) and a pending SLCGP application. The packet also notes a $10,000 ALA award for accessible shelving units and lists the SLCGP submission under "Grants Submitted."
