Commission leadership told commissioners the Draper City Council joint session is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers and will include the consultants working on the city code rewrite. The leadership said the session will last about an hour and include a working meal format.
Commission leadership also noted that the Utah Land Use Institute received a grant to distribute copies of its 'Ground Rules' land-use guide and offered copies for any commissioners who had not previously received one. Commissioners discussed alternates’ attendance, and staff reiterated that sitting alternates may count meeting attendance toward training—attending 12 meetings in a year counts as one hour of training—so alternates are encouraged to remain present and observe to maintain continuity.
Chair Andrew Adams closed the meeting after a motion to adjourn. The commission will next convene per the posted schedule.
