Commissioners table one auditor contract, approve another and sign routine minutes and claims

During the Oct. 21 meeting, Auditor Diana Topping presented independent-employee contract items. The board voted to table the contract for Savana Rhodes pending further review and voted to proceed with the contract for Michelle Marquand; both motions were moved and seconded by Jason Sharp and Frank Loop and passed unanimously.
The board also approved the Oct. 7 and Oct. 16, 2025 meeting minutes and approved payroll and claims by unanimous vote. These routine administrative actions were grouped on the agenda and recorded in the minutes as approved motions.
