Commissioner Jason Sharp introduced the agreement; EMS consultant Jeff Dickson told the board the distributor has 12 ambulances available for 2026 and that the agreement allows the county to withdraw within 90 days without financial penalty.
Minutes note that if a Fire Territory is later established, the equipment needs for that entity should be considered. Commissioner Frank Loop moved to sign the letter of intent, Jason Sharp seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes do not include purchase price estimates or delivery timelines.
