USD 505 approves hires, coaching appointment and staff stipends and bonuses
Summary

Following executive sessions the board approved multiple personnel appointments and compensation items. The board approved Beth Johnson as secretary at Chetopa and Cameron Rice as Chetopa High School assistant football coach. The motions passed by recorded board vote, 6-0.
The board also approved stipends of $2,500 each for Michelle Holtmeyer (responsibilities: PreACT/ACT/WorkKeys, Edgenuity and assist with eligibility) and for Kallie Beachner (to provide ESOL student services and testing). Additionally, classified staff bonuses were approved: full-time employees will receive $800 (paid in two installments of $400 in December and March) and full-year part-time staff will receive $400 (paid in two installments).
