Board adopts emergency plan, CTE contract and multiple policy updates
Summary
The board accepted the Riley Boatwright Emergency Plan, approved a secondary Career and Technology Education contract, and adopted several policy updates and new policies during its Aug. 11 meeting.
The board accepted the Riley Boatwright Emergency Plan for 2025–2026 and approved the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education contract for secondary CTE programs for the 2025–2026 school year. Motions for those items passed unanimously.
In the same portion of the agenda the board approved updates to District Policy EHBCA-R and FL-R and added new policies FEH, FODEA and FODEA-R as well as EHBC-R3. The minutes record several motions (with some repetition of the FODEA motion) but show unanimous approval for each policy action. No additional substantive conditions or dissent are recorded in the minutes.
