Board renews insurance and multiple vendor contracts for 2025–26

At the June 9 meeting, the Weatherford Public Schools Board approved several insurance contracts and vendor agreements needed for operations in the 2025–26 school year. The board voted to renew workers' compensation coverage with The Zenith and property insurance with OSIG; both motions carried 4–0 with one member absent.
The board also renewed the contract with OPAA! Food Management for school meals and approved technology/vendor agreements that include PowerSchool Schoology, GoGuardian and Apptegy. Individual motions were made and seconded by board members (recorded movers and seconders include Matt Fast, Kyle King and Bryan Bayless), each passing unanimously among the four members present. The approvals authorize district staff to execute contracts for the upcoming year.
